About New Canadian Careers
New Canadian Careers is for people who moved to Canada with real qualifications and real experience, only to find a hiring system that does not know what to do with either. We connect newcomers with employers who evaluate credentials instead of dismissing them.
A newcomer with fifteen years of engineering experience applies to two hundred jobs and gets two callbacks. A registered nurse who treated patients for a decade answers phones while her credential file waits. An accountant with a CPA equivalency drives for a rideshare app.
This is the reality for thousands of new Canadians every year. It is not a talent problem. It is a reading problem: resumes full of qualified experience, screened by systems that only recognize one country’s version of it.
NCC was built to fix that.
We help newcomers find the work they were qualified for before they got on the plane, and we give employers a job board built for the talent most platforms overlook entirely.
For people who arrive
Your WES assessment, your IELTS score, your decade of experience abroad. NCC is built for people whose careers started somewhere else, and job seekers never pay to use it.
For the employers who hire them
Canada has a labour shortage and a growing pool of skilled, work-authorized immigrants. NCC is a job board built for them.
Arriving means learning a new vocabulary: NOC codes, credential assessments, language benchmarks, and provincial recognition. NCC job categories follow NOC 2021, and our help centre explains assessments and language tests, so you can present your qualifications in terms Canadian employers recognize.
Every qualified newcomer should be able to find roles that match their skills.
Honest listings, transparent hiring stages, and real employer accountability.
Being new to Canada is not a disqualification. It is a circumstance.
The right first Canadian job changes everything that comes after it.
Less underemployment means stronger teams, communities, and an economy that works.
NCC is not finished, and we are honest about that. But some standards are stamped in from day one.
Creating a profile and applying to jobs on NCC costs nothing.
Employers are asked to state credential and experience requirements in every listing.
We don't sell your personal data.
When skilled people are matched with the right roles, everyone wins. The newcomer, the employer, and the country.
The bottom line
You did not move to Canada to start over. NCC exists to make sure the experience you brought is read, valued, and hired.
